Project Brief

This project reimagines a homeowner’s existing bedroom. The client is a homebody who enjoys reading and usually spends most of her free time indoors. Her bedroom’s open space plan comes with a unique nook that connects to the house’s backyard — a feature that she doesn’t utilize often, but wishes to do so more comfortably soon. The client hopes to declutter the bedroom and turn it into a spacious, cozy hangout area for herself and any guests that she may invite. She harbors a light affinity for Scandinavian and Bohemian designs, and voiced her desires for natural wood tones and a neutral palette.

 

Concept

To envelope the client and guests with a refreshing and warm bedroom space that integrates neutral colors and natural textures, drawn from both Scandinavian and Bohemian interior design styles.
