After helping a family-friend plan their interiors in a newly-built neighborhood for low-income/first-time homeowners, a few neighbors also expressed interest in receiving design recommendations. Many homeowners in the neighborhood derive from a low-income background and might not be able to afford consultation right away. Since I remained a student during this process and was unaffiliated with any firms, my assistance was volunteer and solely involved compiling their preferences and lifestyles into personalized mood boards. The mood boards would guide and inspire them when they're ready to purchase their future décor and furnishings.
