Project Brief

Design a free standing piece of  furniture for their off-grid shelter from Creative Studio. Students must be able to show how the design concept, and language of the elements and principles used in their shelter project translates into the designing and making of their furniture piece.

 

Concept

To envelope an individual within concave crevices to enhance relaxation and mediation while immersed in aquatic conditions, inspired by the form of a triton shell and following the curvilinear movement and flow of the ocean waves.
